Iona Fyfe

Iona Fyfe was on with Norrie Hunter to talk about her new release Lady Finella. This historical story  that Iona has brought to life is out now and what a story and musical triumph it is. Iona is a champion of her North East heritage and even in her voice you can detect the Huntly quine.  The discussion moved on to mysoginistic treatment and disturbing abuse that is thrown at Iona. It really does sadden me as a man the abuse other men give out. Iona bravely admits that she is pro independence for Scotland, which is a majority view.  That in itself is reason for those bigots to make fun of Iona’s features weight voice anything they can throw at her. Here is a message to those who think they are so tough they can abuse a talented, educated woman. Imagine your sister or mother or girlfriend getting abused how would you then feel. If nothing then get help quick you need it.
