Norrie was chatting to one of Scotlands most treasured singers Deirdre Graham after hearing her on stage with Niteworks and then releasing her much acclaimed album Urranta. The quality of any singer is to affect the listeners emotions and that is what Deirdre does. Controlled but powerful depth whether competing effortlessly against an orchestra or in the studio this girl has it all.  Deirdre is joined by some of Scotland’s finest musicians for “Urranta”.  Kristan Harvey (violin) and Angus Lyon (producer, piano, keyboards). Three additional strings players include Seonaid Aitken (violin) who also arranged the strings for the album. Patsy Reid (viola) Alice Allen (Cello) James Lindsay (Breabach) plays double electric bass and moog, and also put together the album’s design layout, and Ruaridh Graham (Niteworks) completes the set on drums.
